Chapter 1353 - 1347: Hannah Hargrave Is Injured

Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family reunions, meant to be a festive occasion, yet Hannah Hargrave was sent to the hospital.After days of fever and constant delirium, a kind-hearted inmate reported it to the guards, and she was sent to the hospital.

Doctors ran a series of examinations, her body indicators were normal, and there were no obvious wounds on her body surface. The doctor frowned in confusion as he looked at the unconscious Hannah.

"This shouldn’t be the case, there’s no cold, and it’s not due to inflamed wounds, her temperature shouldn’t be that high."

Beside the hospital bed, a young nurse hung the saline solution on the stand, glanced at Hannah who was muttering "Don’t, don’t hurt me..." continuously, and said, "Dr. Zhang, could it be an internal inflammation?"

The five inmates remained unfazed, though on the way back to their cells, one of them reported to a guard, "Officer Xu, I need to pee urgently!"

Officer Xu smirked indifferently, "Make it quick!"

As a seasoned officer, he had figured out these inmates’ routines, knowing that whenever there’s a threat of extended sentences, they’d find excuses to snitch.

That inmate ran quickly down the corridor, saw a few fellow inmates walking past and then darted to the Prison Director’s office.

"Reporting! I am inmate 3032..."

"Come in!" The Prison Director’s lips curled into a cold smile, but as the inmate entered, he regained his stern demeanor, "What is it?"

"Reporting, Prison Director, I know about inmate 13068’s matter!"

It turned out that one of the inmates in Hannah’s cell was lesbian, and she had been clinging to another inmate every night. When Hannah joined, this inmate was attracted to her looks.

Hannah was well-kept, with fair skin, a slim waist, and a full bust, so the assertive inmate clung to Hannah persistently. Proud and aloof, Hannah naturally wouldn’t comply, so one night that woman assaulted Hannah.

The reporting inmate had woken up to see that fellow inmate covering Hannah’s mouth with a hand to keep her silent.

Reporting to the Prison Director also earned her some merit; she was due to be released in a month but got an early release the day after reporting. The two inmates who had bullied Hannah had their sentences extended, but Hannah was severely traumatized.

After the steel spoon handle was removed, Hannah’s fever subsided. When she awoke and saw people approaching, she’d shrink into a corner, "Don’t come closer, don’t hurt me..."

The doctor said the incident inflicted serious psychological trauma on her, and whether she could fully recover in the future would depend on the psychiatrist’s treatment...
